Check Valve

Check valves control one-way flow and prevent reverse flow in high-pressure flowlines. Common sizes are 2 in to 3 in, with working pressures up to 20,000 psi (140 MPa). Top-entry flapper, inline flapper and dart check valve designs are available for standard flow, reverse-flow layouts, standard service and NACE sour service, with repair kits.

1. Product Overview

Check valves are installed in pup joints to isolate well fluids and service fluids and prevent backflow from affecting equipment and lines.

When reverse flow occurs, the flapper or dart inside the valve closes automatically to form a seal and provide one-way flow control.

The product mainly consists of a valve body, bonnet, seat, stem, and related parts. Structural types include inline flapper type, top-entry flapper type, and dart type. End connections are usually union connections.

2. Design Features

The valve body is forged from high-strength alloy steel and has high structural strength, making it suitable for long-term use in pup joints.

Union connections at both ends enable quick field dismantling, inspection, maintenance, and line assembly.

Internal sealing areas use HNBR and other sealing materials to improve sealing reliability under high-pressure service.

Multiple structural forms can be selected according to line layout, flow direction, and maintenance requirements.

Working Pressure: 6,000 psi (42 MPa) to 20,000 psi (140 MPa) (inline flapper type), 6,000 psi (42 MPa) to 15,000 psi (105 MPa) (top-entry flapper type and dart type)

Nominal Bore: 2″ to 3″

Temperature Class: -29 ℃ to 121 ℃ (PU class)

Manufacturing Standard: API 6A
