The trial manufacture of a GH-700 manifold requires verification of design pressure, flow path, connection dimensions, material grade, and inspection requirements before production begins. The trial build should confirm both manufacturability and pressure integrity.
Material control starts with qualified forgings, pipes, valves, and fittings. Heat numbers, mechanical properties, and inspection certificates should be traceable to the finished manifold assembly.
Machining and assembly should control flange faces, ring grooves, threaded connections, sealing surfaces, branch alignment, and valve orientation. Welding, when used, must follow qualified procedures and be inspected according to the applicable specification.
Before delivery, the manifold should undergo dimensional inspection, nondestructive examination, hydrostatic testing, functional testing of valves, coating inspection, and documentation review. Trial-manufacture feedback should be converted into process standards for batch production.
