1. Product Overview
API 6A flanges are mainly used for assembly connections in high-pressure manifolds, wellheads, and flowline systems. They are common pressure-containing connection components in high-pressure flow-control equipment.
Specifications cover 2 1/16 in to 5 1/8 in, with rated working pressure from 3,000 psi (21 MPa) to 20,000 psi. Available forms include weld neck flanges and integral hammer union flanges.
Products are suitable for standard-temperature, low-temperature, and sour-gas service and can be selected according to connection size and pressure rating of the high-pressure manifold system.
2. Design Features
Products are manufactured according to relevant API Spec 6A requirements and are suitable for oilfield pup joints and wellhead equipment.
The body is machined from an alloy-steel forging blank, providing stable pressure-bearing strength for high-pressure service environments.
Sealing grooves are machined by CNC equipment with high dimensional accuracy, helping improve connection sealing reliability.
Material class can meet EE requirements, and corresponding materials and specifications can be selected according to field service conditions.
